Directors & Team
The Directors overlooks the development of PN2K's programs and makes strategic decisions that affect the direction of PN2K. Directors ensure that our projects are well-developed and align with legal nonprofit policies and PN2K values. Directors correspond regularly each week and meet 2-4 times a year with the PN2K nonprofit and MIT PN2K teams to discuss, brainstorm, and improve new and current programs.
Interns
We are delighted to take on interns from a variety of majors, interests, and backgrounds who would like to fine-tune their skills and apply knowledge in a professional, nonprofit setting. Internships are typically part-time for 8-10 weeks.
Volunteers
PN2K is fortunate to have a dedicated group of volunteers that help at our bike safety events. Among other tasks, they help with tuning-up and repairing unsafe bikes, ideate and contribute to our foundation's efforts, and educate others about PN2K and bike safety awareness and etiquette. You control how many hours you want to volunteer, which can be 1 hour or 100 hours! No prior bike maintenance experience or knowledge is required. All we look for is energy, enthusiasm, and the willingness to learn and help others.
Advisory Board
Our Advisory Board is composed of highly accomplished mentors and leaders from around the world who lend their expertise, talent, and knowledge to helping to grow PN2K. The compilation of advice from our Advisors and their contributions to PN2K are a wealth of resources. Advisors contribute expertise from team management, professional development, to fundraising and nonprofit growth and strategy.
Partners
We work with very supportive businesses and community organizations that want to help PN2K transform cycling into a safer mode of transportation. Our partners donate their resources, time, and energy to work with us in ensuring we come up with the best forms of mutual collaboration. Their support helps us to attract audiences, educate, and resolve individual bike safety issues.
