Who are Bike Charm School Chairs?
Bike Charm School Leaders are volunteers who want to educate the community about biking and driving more safely on the roads. Usually they are undergraduate or graduate school students.
Who can become a Bike Charm School Chair?
We select leaders based on their interests in biking and safety instruction. They are usually bi-partisan and able to speak and empathize with both drivers and bikers alike. They should be comfortable presenting in front of a large audience and should have experience discussing topics on bike safety and road infrastructure. Their field or background should demonstrate that they a vested interest in bike safety, urban planning, and/or environmental impact.
