STEAM Education
What is STEAM Education?
STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math. STEAM Education is a movement that promotes the typical four subjects ("STEM") with the addition of humanities/the arts.
How is PN2K involved with STEAM?
Before the MIT PN2K Club was founded, the PN2K Memorial Foundation collaborated with cool, local start-ups and their CEOs to organize hands-on, experiential-learning field trips for underprivileged high school students. PN2K organized four STEAM field trips with the support and collaboration of impressive founders, local start-ups, and labs. This collaboration was sustained with the help of Noah, Alice, and Shilpa. We were also proud to award our first ever PN2K $500 Achievement Award to Lucie Sanon, first girl in her family to attend college.

Future STEAM Projects
We discontinued our STEAM Projects after our collaboration with MIT Amphibious Achievement ended in 2014. The PN2K Foundation would like to continue similar projects, pending funding.
